1. About Zahi
Zahi ("the Service", "we", "us") is an AI-powered study companion that helps students turn uploaded course material (such as PDFs) into personalized study plans, daily lessons, flashcards, and quizzes. By creating an account or using Zahi in any way you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Zahi. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may only use Zahi with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By signing up you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information at signup and to keep that information current. Notify us immediately at a.othman.dev@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Zahi to:
- Upload material you do not have the legal right to use, including pirated textbooks or copyrighted content owned by others.
- Cheat on exams, plagiarize academic work, or violate the academic integrity policies of your institution.
- Upload illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, automate, overload, or otherwise misuse the Service or its infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Zahi or content generated by Zahi as your own commercial product.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. AI-Generated Content & Limitation of Liability
Zahi uses artificial intelligence to generate study material from your uploads. AI-generated content may contain mistakes, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying on it for exams, coursework, or any real-world decision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zahi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Zahi, its owners, and its contributors are not responsible for any errors in AI-generated content, exam results, grades, missed material, lost study time, or any other direct or indirect consequences arising from your use of the Service.
5a. AI Content Disclaimer
Zahi provides AI-generated study content for educational assistance purposes only. Zahi makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content including summaries, flashcards, and quiz questions. Users rely on this content entirely at their own risk.
5b. Limitation of Liability
Zahi is not responsible for any academic results, exam performance, grades, or any direct or indirect consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content. In no event shall Zahi's liability exceed the amount paid by the user in the most recent billing period.
5c. No Guarantee of Academic Outcomes
Zahi does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in improved academic performance or exam success. The platform is a supplementary study tool and is not a substitute for attending classes, reading course materials, or consulting qualified instructors.
5d. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Zahi harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
6. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
Some features of Zahi require a paid subscription. Prices and plan details are shown on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time. By upgrading you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable fee for the plan you select.
All sales are final and non-refundable. Exceptions may be granted at Zahi's sole discretion, for example in the case of a duplicate charge or a verified technical issue that prevented you from accessing the Service. To request a refund exception, contact a.othman.dev@gmail.com.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination your right to use Zahi ends immediately and your study data may be permanently deleted.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the original material you upload. By uploading content you grant Zahi a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content for the sole purpose of generating your personalized study experience. The Zahi name, logo, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update Zahi and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use of Zahi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Zahi shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.
Any disputes arising from the use of Zahi shall be governed by the laws of Jordan and resolved exclusively in Jordanian courts.
